Title: lsd swap

Can you take the lsd out of med case diff and put it in a small case?

why not just put the whole thing in your car. I have a 4.10 LSD medium case from a 325is auto in mine.

No. It won't fit in the ring gear.

if you get the medium lsd diff it will go right in with some tweaking.  The two things you need to have/do or it will look as if the diff dosn't line up at all are you have to adjust the drive shaft all the way forward sine the medium diff is bigger.  You also need the medium case axle flanges since the small case ones stick out farther to compensate for the small diff.  If you need any more info just msg me.
