do you think really that the chip in that page will give you 50HP more than stock? ahhahaha lol search in the forum, there are more reputable sources like MarkD!

Not gonna happen. For one, the ecu in the e30 is much different than an e36 so therefore how could they have a chip that could deal with both? e30 ecu's have numerous things that are different, including the lack of knock sensors.

I may be mistaken but i thought that the early e36's were exactly the same

e36 has knock sensors..and oil pan is diff. plus a m42 wont fit in a m44 engine bay(<

The m44 and m42 are dimensionally identical, different intake manifold than the e30 variant, but I can't imagine the two not being interchangeable physically.
