Title: Driveshaft Vibration Damper removal?
Post by: rob0r on June 26, 2008, 08:27:40 AM
I'm currently in the middle of converting my E21 to take an M42, I'm at the moment considering which driveshaft to use. The E30 M42 shaft has the substantial vibration damper (number 3 in the diagram), and this is quite heavy and I was wondering if I could get away with not using it?

Cheers

Throw it in the trash can.  Not needed.
