Title: Tvan
Post by: Tvan on May 18, 2006, 10:56:54 PM
So I didn't read the welcome thread till after my introduction post, which I made in the wrong forum.  I frequent r3v and dtmpower (not so much now that it has died), I don't often visit bf.c, although I am registered.  I never joined e30tech, and I don't see any reason to now...

My car is pretty much stock right now, I'll post pics if anyone wants to see them.  I will be working on my car a lot this summer, so we'll see how it turns out.

Not everyone gets around the internet as much as I do.

Mods Coming Soon:
MarkD chip (hopefully 93 octane)
ANSA exhaust (replacing my ghetto muffler)
Z4 3.0 ssk
Analog clock OBC replacement
Blacked Out Grille
Bilstein Sport Shocks & H&R Springs (if I have any money left)

I'm also thinkin' about painting a set of my weaves anthracite or some dark grey.

welcome again man, painting the rims is a good choice as long as you keep the lips silver but PLEASE keep the kidneys chrome.  Black kidneys looks the BMWness IMHO, but its your car, your call.  Have you considered just a dynomax muffler instead of a catback?  Much cheaper and still sound great!

Nah, I'd just like to go back to stock (or close to) sound for a while.  I've actually been hunting around for a used Supersprint, but haven't found one yet.  I can get an ANSA for $200 less 10% through BMA anyways.

I'd recommend doing the Bilstein/H&R first then see if you've got money left for the rest. My 2 cents.

(I recently did that setup and it's a completly new car now)

No I am getting all of the other stuff for a lot less than retail.  The suspension modding will be at the end of the summer if I can afford it before going back to school.  I am, however, glad to hear that the upgrade is worth it.
