I've removed the ICV and cleaned it, the throttle body and upper intake manifold are off. The throttle body heaters are gone.
Now in order to clean up underneath I need to remove the lower intake manifold. I see the nuts to remove it, but I cannot figure out how the fuel rail / injectors should be removed. Can I just unbolt the lower manifold and leave the injectors in place? If not and I need to remove them can someone tell me the best way to get them off?
I'll do some forum searches as well but would GREATLY appreciate some assistance! If anyone's in DFW I'll pay cash ;)
Thanks!

Here's a picture of where I am. I *think* I can actually remove all of the mess of hoses beneath without removing the lower intake manifold and injectors. I have a question about what happens to two of the vacuum lines that to to the air intake area post MAF and pre TB.
Also, if I DON'T go through the removal and just want the plate gone I assume I can just jumper the two coolant lines as in the photo? I'd like to get rid of the mess below though, as it has a lot of cracks and old hose problems.

Thanks for any assistance!

You shouldn't need to remove the fuel rail, but if you do you're about there. Looks like all that is holding it in are the o-rings on the injectors themselves. I think I would try to leave them in place while removing the lower intake, though, since you should replace the o-rings if you remove the injectors. Although, having said that, now is a good time to have your injectors cleaned and flow-matched... :)
While you are there, though, you should definitely replace those two 2-inch pieces of rubber fuel line that are connecting the fuel rail to the supply and return lines. I had one of those give way and start dripping raw fuel onto the starter. As you are probably aware, it is a PITA to get to where you are now to replace them.
You should be able to connect those two lines as in your pictured Option 1.
The ICV should be connected to the throttle body intake tube, to one of the ports on the bottom; the valve/cam cover line should go to the bottom of the throttle body.
