Its not the window lockout button (not actually circled)? Could it be a rear foglight?
-
all I see is a red circle w/ nothing inside of it... what exactly were you trying to circle? I don't see any button besides the window buttons...
-
That switch controls the rear window switches. If your lights work in your window switches you can see if they have power by just turning your head.
-
i think its your 12v reset button.
atleast thats what someone told me.
-
I have that button too, and I thought it was the central locking button....at least that is where it is on my E36 M3?
-
My owner's manual says that the fifth power window button is the circuit breaker reset for the windows.
-
Maybe is is the child safety window lock button. Ya think?
-
no you idiot, thats on the right side , not the left.
-
then what button is he talking about numbnuts!!!!
-
its a circuit breaker.
-
Why would it be on the center console like that?

Why would it be on the center console like that?
So it's easy to get to? Looking at some instruction manuals, it looks like some E30s had an overall electrical system circuit breaker in one of the button openings above the radio, too.
-
It just seems odd that the circuit breaker switch would be something you need "access" to all the time....I guess I don't need to keep pressing it then!

Nice car phone btw, I'm sure you guys know what button he means but I don't see it, and I don't have it.
