Hi all,
Just wanted to verify the dimensions for the header studs. I went to autohausAZ and asked them which size they had for the M42 and they said they were 8mm studs. Then when i went to get the copper nuts, there were 7mm ones and 8mm ones, so I am kind of confused. Eventually I'll be picking up a 91 318iS bentley manual or something, but id like to know this semi soon so i can order parts and get my swap going!
Thanks,
AJ

Best thing that works for me is getting the P/N from realoem...

Header studs are 7mm on the two 90' E30 M42s I am working with.

Ok now you know and have the direct link, go use it and you will always have a valuable resource. This will also cut down on a lot of basic questions.

Yeh, without this website I wouldn't have been able to purchase 98% percent of the parts that I have to date :)
ETK is also a nice program that the dealers use, I have that as well and if you would like a copy of it, I can throw it on a cd and mail it to you.
