Title: Value of stock 318is wheels
Post by: 75BMW2002 on May 30, 2008, 09:20:39 AM
I am purchasing a completely stock 1991 318is and of coruse it has the stock wheels.  I want to upgrade the wheels and was wondering the value of the stock wheels to help offset the costs.

Is there a market for these and if so what would four nice condition stock wheels be worth?

Thanks

Bob

sell them to honda and vw guys.

I just drove past an old vw rabbit that had bottlecaps with black painted centers.
Basketweave is a nice design that lots of people like so you may be able to get 200-250 if the tires are useable.

You can easily get $250 for a set of nice basketweaves w/o tires.

I like the basketweaves, however, I don't know if I would enjoy trying to keep them clean...  I have the bottlecaps on my 318ic (for now).
