it is "missing" when i put load on the motor! it was doing it b4 so i put new sparkplugs like 4 days ago and it seemed to fix it but just started doing it again! wtf could it be??!?!?!?:mad::mad:

spark plug wires?
time for a COP conversion maybe? i had the same issue and got to a point where it wasn't drivable. did the COP and runs fine since...
i'm saying that but it could be something else too.. :

could be fuel pressure issue. could be vacuum issues.

I have the same problem....I'm going to clean the ICV first....but this problem isn't just idle related, more like misfires and spark related...I'm also going to regap my new plugs and retorque them....

Put new NGK spark plugs in today, didn't help. put 93 octane fuel in, didn't help.....I'm going to replace my O2 sensor today, but I'm starting to think either the ignition wires (which means I'm going to do the COP conversion) or the fuel pump.

Yeah...I'm going to drop it off at a shop. If it's the wires, then I'll probably buy them, but I want to be sure and not just keep spending money on parts!

I think I found my problem....the #3 wire has a hole right where the spark head meets it....there is a white spot on the boot and in the valve cover itself....what do I do from here? Can you buy the wires from autozone, O'Reilley's, etc? Can I just put RTV/tap on there for now???? Thoughts?

Ok, I tried RTV and tape.....worked wonderfully for about 5 minutes...then it started happening again.
So, I'm going to try JB weld and then black tape....we'll see how she does!
