Title: Koni Sport Adjustables with H&R O.E. Sports
Post by: dude8383 on May 25, 2008, 12:52:37 PM
I haven't seen anyone use this combo...

I'm thinking about going this route with my swap car because I already have the springs from my car.

Do you guys think it will be okay to use H&R O.E. Sports with the Koni's?

Or should I just get H&R sports? I'm not really looking for an aggressive drop because I'm afraid to break the oil pan.

Thanks!

Konis should work very well with your H&R OE springs. Bob Tunnell captured the D Stock autocross title in the early 90s in a 91 318is equipped with Konis and stock springs. In other words, they work well with stock springs -- and should do just fine with nearly any aftermarket street spring.

Well then, I've made up my mind!

I just don't want to be sitting too low in NY...the roads are really terrible.

Thanks!

I've got Koni adjustables Spd2 (i think) and H&R 19.03+19.01 and the car is absolutely stiff. :D
