I found a plug hanging lose in my engine bay. It is on the same loom as the Round Airflow Meter Plug and the 3 pin throttle position sensor plug. It's a 2 pin plug like the one on the idle control valve. Anyone have any ideas what it should plug into?

Does anyone know? I am getting desperate as the car is running badly and I suspect that this may have something to do with it.

Hey bud I looked on my car to help you out. It goes to the charcoal canister just below the MAF and just in front/below the steering pump reservoir. That is the same two slot plug on the canister. Clean the connnectors before plugging it back together. Also if that was disconnected you might want to check all your vacuum lines for leaks or just being loose. let me know how that worked
