i heard from someone you could take a m47 crank and the pistons from a s50 and end up with a 2.1 if this is possible how reliable and the pros and cons of this set up. if this is even true.

I have seen the discussions also, but I have not seen the results from anyone who has completed this project. Apparently there is machine work needed on the front of the crank, and availability is an issue as well. This crank was not available in the US in any vehicle sold here. I have seen some for sale, right pricey though.

sweet thanks for the thoughts yeah there is a lot of talk about this same project motor is this my only option or are their other cranks i could use or a company i could buy a nice balanced crank from with the same specs? as this m47D20
