Title: 1991 318is and 1992 e36 318is difference

whats the difference looking to buy a smashed up 1992 e36 318is with a good motor and trans and stuff. so whats the difference with my motor and trans?

Different transmission, oil pans, intake system. All you can use is the long block.

so to swap it i would swap oil pans? and intake mani? does it bolt to my tranny?

yes to all of my questions? so it will bolt to my tranny but in that car is a different tranny? what about sensors? and wiring?

The long blocks should be the same. All you are doing is swapping the e30 components onto the new long block.
