¿Is ABS an optional in the 318is E30s or they never had this feature? I was comparing my car to a 320i E30 and it had ABS.

It depended on the market. It was standard in the US but I can't speak for elsewhere.

what i know... for the european market it wasnt standard!it was an option!like the airbag and power steering etc..! i have got 2 cars without abs and 1 with.
standard was an empty car!!
