Title: New Tires?
Post by: 318kid on January 22, 2008, 04:11:55 PM
Does anybody have any experience with Falkens Ziex ZE-912? I have the ZE-512's and love them and this is the predecessor, but I'm just wondering if anyone has had first hand experience. Thanks

I have them, great tires, especially for the price.

Cool! Are the side walls pretty stiff? Does it give you feedback while your driving or does it feel like a sponge? Are you running 195/65/14? I think I may go wider to like 205/60/14 do you think that would be good? Thanks

yes, feedback,195's, i considered 205's but it is not much of a difference, and I tend to prefer a skinnier street tire verses one that is squeezed onto a small rim. R-comps on the other hand, put as much tire on as you can.

I had 205/60-14 Yokohama's on basketweaves and they fit very well. I went through two sets over a four year period.
