Title: exhaust system fitment/
Post by: beegeezy on January 18, 2008, 04:31:21 PM
When I got my 91 318i parts car, the exhaust had been cut off, and the shop just threw in an extra 325i exhaust so I could complete it(very cool of them). My question is, will it bolt up to the m42?

The 325 has a dual pipe, the 318 has a single... It wont bolt up. I ended up just making an exhaust for my car. You could make a Y pipe, but it would probably be more of a hassle that its worth. The oem mufflers are big bucks though. Good luck man!

If you are lust looking for a cheap replacement get a Dynomax super turbo and some steel tubing. cost you about 75 bucks in total
