Here is a project I am planning.....  Can anyone guess?  

Also what is the item in the second picture?

The item in the second picture injects fuel vapor from the gas tank vent/charcoal canister into the intake manifold.

ok thanks, would that be possible to eliminate?  Would it casue any problem for the ECU?

i'd say an e36's M42 stroker. 2.1 into a 2002

good guess...  no stroker right now tho, maybe in a year or so

Just setting up the m42 into a 02 right now.  Its just an e30 m42 as well

well thats a good project! i'm dreaming about a stroker too, guess i'll have to wait until university is over so i can save up enough money to do it right, although there might not be many e30's M42s left by that time..

i really thought it was an e36 engine since from this angle the air intake manifolds looks smaller. oh well, i guessed

keep us posted with developments i'd like to see it when its all installed
