I really like how all the lines are vertical and the reverse light doesn't run horizontally.
But I need to know if they will be a direct swap.
I found these on Ebay....

will those fit perfectly like they were OEM???
I think I remember someone saying they would but I just want to make sure.

On your 318is? Nope, won't fit.
-
They won't work. These are too small.
-
dang.
will any early model e30 lights work? I really dont like that horizontal reverse light on ours lol.
thank you though guys!
-
Nope, I believe M3 lights and DB car lights are one and the same.
-
well so much for that lame idea.
Thanks though!:)

it can be done but its alot of work and it involves cutting and welding and painting... and probably some cursing too...

what about modifying the ones you have. after all if you look at the reverse lights and the red compartments above and below the white horizontal bar, it is possible to blend them all in one unit and then bleach and somehow make it look white. i dont know if the plastic is painted or if its stained, if the plastic itself is red it will make things harder
