Title: lost odometer after engine/tranny pull
Post by: stever318is on November 21, 2007, 02:33:07 PM
just got the 91 back on the road pulled eng/tranny to do a upper oil pan.
Odometer is only thing not working. It is a sensor in the rear end? i checked it seems tight. Do i have a elect connector in the wrong spot? Funny thing is i've put two different connectors into mass air flow sensor with no change in driveability they are exactly the same type i had forgotten which. Any pics or suggestions where to check

if your speedo is working and odo isnt then its the odo gears in the cluster

Yes the speedo works, the odometer did before i pulled engine. So without a doubt my gears went bad by chance.

thanks
