Title: Stock camber
Post by: mdl76 on October 18, 2007, 12:37:03 AM
Look at these pics.. does this camber look ok?  The last tires on the vehicle where worn bad on the inside (only the fronts).  I replaced all the suspension and put in bilstein HD struts and It looks like the camber is still negative.  If this is not normal then my strut towers must be bent... I guess I could measure them.  But if that was the case I'd see bad fit and the body work ( I think)

Well first of all take the pictures in the same place because if i'm to judge from those ones i'd have to say that your toe in needs some adjustment.

How are your Control Arms? Perhaps the camber could be coming from a ball joint or a control arm bushing. To me the leftside looks worse than the right.

I get a better pic.  One that show both at the same time.  I think this may be normal as ive seen it on other bmw's

The front end I just replaced, arms, struts, tower bearings, lolly pop bushings.
