Title: It's the little things
Post by: Michael_B on October 12, 2007, 03:23:54 AM
I went to change my spark plugs last weekend and when I pulled the number one plug had a mild heart attack when it was dripping with oil. I quickly logged onto the forum, searched for "oily plugs", and found the answer. This is my first twin cam motor and never gave any thought to how the valve cover sealed around the plug holes. A quick trip to the dealer to pick up the parts and all was solved. It's amazing how such a simple job as changing the plugs and vave cover seals makes you feel. Big thanks to everybody on the forum for posting the information that helped me out.

Thats the feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment you get from every job you do on your car, espacially when it's your pride and joy. Glad you could experience it and that the forum could help. Keep it up :D
