Title: glasspack
Post by: Meister on October 06, 2007, 10:56:31 PM
I was talking to one of my co-workers today and he told me that I should get a glasspack for my car, he knows a shop that he took his old car to for $60 installed.  Is that a good price?  Also, I'd like to know what the sound is like? is it ricey? lol, i just want something that sounds nice but not to loud/fart canish if you know what i mean lol

It's SUPER loud.  I think asubimmer has glasspacks and it's really insanely loud.  I would put like 3 on your car if you want one.

meh, they're not that bad. i had them on a chevelle that i had and when i switched over to flowmasters the flowmasters were significantly louder. but thats also converting to 2.5 inch dual side pipes vs dual 2 inch out the back... But i would steer clear of glass packs all together.

I was running a straight pipes back to a glasspack at the end and it was pretty dang loud.  It would have been a good bit quieter if it was closer to the motor.  I wouldn't really suggest my old setup unless it was just a track car.  It got a LOT of attention from cops...
