Title: Whining sounds??
Post by: VitaminJ on April 20, 2006, 12:00:17 AM
Well, a little something I noticed the other day...

While coasting down my hill at about 5-10km per hour with my clutch IN, and in gear, I hear a whining from what might be my transmission?

the minute I take it out of gear, it stops....

any suggestions?  maybe top up my transmission fluid??

did you have the clutch out after  you took it out of gear ??
if the noise occured with the clutch in it may be the throw out bearing??
