Post by: pwforprez on September 14, 2007, 12:19:00 AM: well looks like i am picking up a 318is on saturday. pics will come soon after. this is replacing my old eta which had a sudden death 6 months ago. i miss driving my old e30 and cant wait to drive this newer one.

compared to an eta, anything is fun haha. You'll have a blast driving it, everyone rags on how slow they are, when in reality...you just have to know how to drive the car for it to be quick.

Oh I'm not hating, I drove one for almost a week when my car was down. I fell in love with their torque, but they've got nothing up top. On the other hand, m42's have nothing down low, but are a blast up top. Definitely a completely different animal.

OP, did teaguer take the suspension off before you picked it up?

Post by: pwforprez on September 20, 2007, 09:55:22 AM: well i got a quick polish on the wheels done yesturday they looks good but in the end im going for more of a mirror effect but that takes time and i dont have that 4 hours on polishing wheels is a bitch good thing i had my buddy do it as pay back.. ill get pics as soon as i can but my camera just broke so they will prolly be taken at this weekends meet.

then i let it crack

wipe it off and

decided to strip all the old paint off to make it look better
then i taped it off and spayed with glossy black engine enamel with ceramic.. looks real nice

after it dries im polishing the lip of real nice
then 3 more to finish that ive already started

droped on some free tokico springs. (while i save for better) getting new muffler in the mail on monday. and hopefully a few other parts this weekend.
i plan of replacing the rear subframe and shit very soon.. mine is poo
