Title: engine acting weird :confused:
Post by: FL318i on September 10, 2007, 10:56:17 AM: hey there, for some reason when i start the engine and its cold the car sputters until it shuts off if i dont give it gas and i noticed that when it does that the check engine light comes on but if i rev it up stops the sputtering.

any clue what can be causing this>>>????

Post by: ten2doyle102 on September 11, 2007, 05:29:19 PM: does the car's rev's bounce when its idling? I could be a bad vacuum leak as well. my car has one somewhere and the check engine leak comes on and turns off when i give some gas.

since we're on the subject...what are some good ways to find vacuum leaks?

didnt do a diagnose yet!!!
