Title: Anyone upgrade ignition coils?

I just wanna know if it's worth dishing out the $200 for the coils bavauto sells

hey man.. I just got a set of 4... they go in this weekend... I'll let you know.

The OEM coils were around the same price (the BMA website price is per coil, as I found out).

I am working on a coil on plug conversion to replace the stock coils with some VW coils and thus eliminate the high tension wires. I will let you know how it goes.

i think what it is posible to replace with M50 engine coils..

hey man, there is a thread in "engine + driveine" on the Bavauto coils. I bought them and had some really positive results. smoother startup and running
