they seem very cheap for all 4 with arp bolts. i realise standard rods bolts must be uprated when making a higher reving engine, but are aftermarket conrods worth doing too, when will standard rods usualy fail, cos i'd like 8000-9000rpm really.

You're also going to need lighter valvetrain parts to even get the engine past 7500rpm.

i will be, and a mega mega light flywheel, and lightened crank, and light pistons ect

the ad on ebay says they are for turbo'ed motors....i  wonder if they have oil channels that spray oil to the under side of the piston for better cooling with a turbo.

Theres a hole in the end of the rod anyway which could be an oil jet?

except thats 400 british pounds, which is like 800$ so you may as well just buy from a known manufacture.
