What happened to the track talk forum?
-
*bumb*
anyone?
-
I agree, we need one!

There are a few guys out there who track their cars...E9nine, 2002Maniac, yours truly, not sure who else off the top of my head.
Most guys just use their 318i/is for daily driving. I think mostly in part because people perpetuate the silly idea that only 6-cyl BMW's are track worthy.

It was removed because it wasn't being used really. "All track discussion topics were moved to the General discussion area. There has been 34 topics in there since this place started, sort of a waste."

Well, that one is taken from my car. It's filmed during the BMW Club Finland's track day. Track is Botniaring, located in Finland.
I won the c-class sprint competition, yee! Car is stock except suspension, cat back and chip (which doesn't do anything...)

I autoX mine, but I really wish that there were some tracks in Indy.... :(
-
I track mine. I am going out to Infineon Raceway on the 23.

What kind of suspension mods are you running?
-
I also track mine. The 318is is not the fastest but it is a lot fun.

Meh, M20's aren't all that. They only sound good.
M42s are better both on and off the track
Handle better on the track and they are so rev happy and off the track they use less fuel and are cheaper to run.
Only 6 potter I'd consider would be an S50:cool:

Bilstein sports, Eibach springs/swaybars, Toyo T1-S tires, custom strut bar,

I have been to the track 3 times this season + a couple of Autoslalom runs, the m42 is not all that, but there are not many cars that can keep up in the bends.
