That would be a deal at $5500, but only to an E30M42 learned individual.  If thats what you decide to price it at, I may know an interested person in VA.

The roll bar will be a hindrance to sale for anyone but a fellow diehard M42 guy or a teenager whos willing to drive a grandpa looking car.

I dunno, I think the roll bar would be a plus, especially if it is only a bolt-in.

Rollbar tells the general public you beat the ever-lovin snot out of the car or it is a high powered track demon or flipping over is a danger on public roads, or you are "one of those punk kids".

Rollbar tells enthusiasts and E30 nuts you like your car and either took really good care of it because you are a car nut, or ou are another punk who buys random stuff for his car and never fixes the real problems with it.

I'm NOT passing judgement, just giving a realistic overview of what you'll be dealing with when you sell it.

I sold my Miata - full suspension work, I,H,E, lots of extras, great tuned condition, rollbar, dressed up interior to a cool chick who was looking for a new track car to put a turbo on...
But I had to suffer through a few knuckle-heads too.

I didn't think about this, but it is very true...
