What can I do to raise it up about 1/2", because after I lowered the car all around it looks like the rear end is squatting a little bit lower even though the car is level. This is an inherent design with the cars, and most BMW's of this era because of the height of the rear wheel arch.
Any suggestions?

Bimmerworld 15mm spring pads

The spring to wheel motion ratio is about .64 to 1.0. Over time, the spring pads get squashed. A good solution is a big washer. The ID is the size of the bump on the trailing arm and the OD is just a bit bigger than the spring seat. You can make it out of scrap aluminum plate (.32" or 8-9 mm)using a hole saw, hack saw, and a grinder.

Thanks gents I'll look at both options.
