Title: weird feeling when turning to the left
Post by: ten2doyle102 on August 01, 2007, 11:58:49 PM
I recently traded cars, and i am now going through finding everything that needs to be taken care of.  Anyway,  when i turn the wheel to the left it feels like something is restricting the movement of the wheels.  After about a 1/8 to 1/4 turn the "restriction" seems to pop back to where it is supposed to be and will keep turning fine after that.  I thought steering linkages at first but its fine, so what else???

When I read the title of this thread I thought, "sounds like a personal problem"  :-).

Do you have powersteering on the car?  Does it happen every time?

Control arm bushings can do this if you have improperly seated M3 ones. M3 bushings are offset (the hole isn't in the middle).
