I was really going for the Motor Trend/ Car and Driver look with enough shots for a full spread. Did I achieve it?

Over 70% of MINI buyers are males - you just notice the women

I have a 2004 MCS and a 91 318i. The MINI does almost everything better, but the 318 is one of the few cars that is as fun to drive. It was the MCS that brought me to the 318 when I was looking for a car for my kids. I wanted a lower powered, good mpg, 4 door, that was a good handling car and didn't have all the nanny electronics. That the car has the M42, is rear wheel drive, and light, makes it fantastic.
The MINI is a great drivers car and is quite fun and controllable when you "get on it". The supercharged engine feels a lot like the M42: high reving, surge of power as you climb the rpms, and lots of sweet noise. The new model is reportedly more civilized (to the dismay of some) and faster. Not quite E30 to E36 but you get the idea.
Don't you ever compare a MINI to a VW (unless its a late 70s Scirocco). Its like saying an E30 is just a big Jetta.
Oh yeah, Great pics. You've caught pretty much all of the new models updates.

Brad(correct?) you are a BOSS photographer. Those could seriously be in a magazine. Where is that stretch of road in #11? Looks like a bit of fun.
On a side note...my aunt has a Cooper S and that thing is thrilling to drive. I love the torque that it has(that which the M42 doesn't) and it's handling. If only it were RWD. I want an original Mini so hard.

Thanks a lot for all of the feedback guys! Ill post my stuff more often then.
I've never seen anyone get on it but I hear that they are quite quick .............
Faster than the supercharged one's, but much much less engine feedback and the car is really quiet (90mph feels like 65-70mph)
Brad(correct?)
yes, I am Brad:p

I'll second this - bought my wife a 2004 Cooper S as a runabout, that thing is a hoot to drive. Tons of fun, handles like a go-cart. FWD takes some getting used to, but still, a blast. In fact, I'm still seriously considering trading my 2006 Daytona in on another Mini...
