New to the M42 club - found a link on R3V the other night when looking at something over there.  I bought this 166K 318is in March at a local BMW shop/junkyard/repair shop here in Phoenix.  Bought my first E30, an '89 325i, in January, after giving up on finding a nice 318is after 6 months of looking.  The 325i was rusty and had a lot of other issues and I regretted buying it soon after I got it.  Sold it to a previous owner who wanted it back so it all worked out well in the end.  Six days later found this one for sale about 6 miles from my house.  Paid $3200 for it.  The shop fixed a few things on it before I took possession.  It's in pretty good shape - the back half has been repainted because part of the rear end was replaced.  The repair seems to have been done well.  Got the a/c working last week so it's fun to drive in Phoenix again.  Finding a few bits and pieces at the junkyard for it as needed.  I've loved these cars since they were new and glad to finally have one in the driveway.  Don't know a lot about E30s but I'm learning.

Looks exactly like my car when I picked it up. Bone stock...things need to change. Looks like a pretty clean car you got though.
