I don't know how many of you frequent the r3vlimited forums, but a great new mod just came out, if you like putting Ford skirts on your car ;)

When you can buy a pair of these in the local scrapyard (billions of tauruses are rotting in the streets as we speak, if you haven't been looking) for $10, they certainly look like a good deal for those of us who can't quite justify almost $300 for Mtech or IS skirts...
-
Great alternative imo if you don't have the funds or resources to get OEM BMW skirts.
I did this over a year ago with the other style of Taurus skirts but never put it on since I held out for IS skirts.
One thing they should add to the instructions is to cutout the bottom of the skirts near the factory jacking points so it clears.

I have to admit Hon2BMW's e30 looks exceptionally well with the skirts and the alpina spoiler.... the best looking bronzit around, period.
Gearhead, are you considering the skirts? They look very enticing.

Yea, I'm going to start looking around for some in good shape. I'd really like a set of Mtech-1 skirts, but I don't have $300 lying around at the moment. Hopefully I'll have some Taurus skirts and an IS lip before the summer ends.

I told a guy at work to look for some whe he goes to the 'yard this weekend. Hopefully someone will buy my E36 M3 sways so I have cash to complete this mod.
I may visit the yard near my job at lunch on Friday.
