Title: Fuel Pump Gremlin
Post by: badboypolar on July 02, 2007, 06:32:39 PM
Running a little rough and bogging/dying during a warm start. So a little work and I traced it to the O2 relay was bad. So I replaced all the relays and now the fuel pump won't turn on. I checked the fuel pump relay and it's wiring and it all tested okay. So I run the jumper from 30 to 87 and it turned on. Then I unplugged the ECM and grounded #1 with the key in the ignition and the pump turned on. So now I'm thinking that my ECM fried? Do I need to buy another ECM or test something different?

Ever figure out what was wrong? I'm having the exact same problem right now, and wondering what you replaced....

Same problem with my and my friends Is. When cold everything is fine, but when started warm i have rough idle and sometimes engine turn off. Replaced and checked all typical things, cleaned inectors, filter, new spark plug cables, all sensors checked and work fine, O2 also. We don't know what else to look at....
maybe those relays??
