Hi guys!,
Ive currently been enjoying driving my is about! still think i deffo made the right choice buying this car! Got a slight problem though! About 4 days ago now i was pulling away from the lights in 1st gear and I got a seriously heavy judder just as ive come off the clutch, i now have to pull away at 1500rpm just to stop this from happening! as i was coming home from work today i did stick the car in 4th at about 25mph and pulled away and there was no rise within the rev range indicating to me of no slip of the friction plate! Im going to order my head gasket and timing chain parts on friday so i just need to know if i need to add a new friction plate, pressure plate and release bearing to that list! Can anyone shed some light on this problem! Thanks guys!!
Harvy!

lol sounds like you like exclamation points!!
My guess is that you have a worn clutch, which can cause shuddering. Normally this would be accompanied by increased noise and rattles as well as an acrid smell.
