Title: exhaust options
Post by: gearheadE30 on June 19, 2007, 03:45:20 PM
WEll, the exhaust that is on my car (Bosal) sounds like crap and needs to at least have a resonator installed. I was looking into a flowmaster hushpower II resonator with a magnaflow muffler.

My other option is to go with a supersprint cat-back, which I have heard nothing but good things about.

I also have a limited-time access to a cheap E36 M3 cat-back, and was wondering how this would sound and how easy it would be to adapt.

Any suggestions?

I recently installed a Supersprint and like it. It's relatively quiet at idle and has a subtle deep tone under acceleration. Good fitment too.
$539 with free shipping from BMP Design.

Sounds like a pretty good deal as they last forever. Do you have a video or something that you could post?

I don't but I know that I saw one posted here a few months ago.  It was a video sound clip of a Supersprint on a e36.  Do a search and hopefully it is still available.  Good luck,Dan.
