Title: Power Steering Pump

Seem to be losing my power steering - no leaks, but the steering was groaning before and now requires alot of effort at low speed.  I am wondering if the ps pump is unique for the M42 or if the other E30 pumps were compatible.  Thanks for the help.

Either way does anybody have one they want to get rid of (Maybe this is more of a WTB)?

dumb question... have you checked the fluid level and the tightness of the belt?

Fluid level is at the max and the belt seems tight.  I don't think the pump is even circulating any fluid.
