looks good, what suspension setup did you go with?
-
well right i now due to money constriants, it only got Comso Fully Adjustable coilovers on it. i I going to try to save for some billy but i don't that i can afford it right now so i might opp to go with the KYB GT-2 strut/shocks. If they are total crap, i'd like to know, i havent been able to find much info about them. they sound ok. not really looking to make this a track car or anything, but i seriously need to update the stock struts.

Hey! Another e30techer that has come over to talk about their 318's.
-
your damn right! :D
-
Nice improvement.
-
How's the ride?
-
pretty damn bouncy....that's kind a why i wanna get myself some new shock/struts! On the highways its not too bad but around town...it can be back breaking...
-
Love the color!

The fronts are about 300#. Plenty stiff. I had KYB's and they lasted about 2 years and the car still had a bit of bounce. It comes with the spring rate. If you are going to stay that stiff, you'll need Bilsteins and it will still bounce. Another option is to buy softer springs. The problem is that soft rates are hard to come by in less than 10" lengths. I'd check with Ground control as you pick the spring rate with their coil over kits. They may have softer rates.
Remember you are talking to Mr. soft springs/stiff bars here.

so what your saying is that the KYB's are not too bad then right? I think i am going to have to get them strickly for money constraints.
-
I have KYB's oem version on my car, and I love them, don't know how they would work with your set up.

Welcome, car looks nice and another one without fogs.
