Has anyone had a problem with oil leaks after replacing timming chain case covers ?
-
Yes. I have the same problem. I think I need to pull the bottom off and replace the paper gasket with Silcone gasket (Honda bond).

Where the upper and lower timing case covers come together are a PITA. I've pulled mine back apart and will use both Gasket Cinch as well as silicone to seal it up. Any time you have 3 pieces come together at one point it will be trouble.

I just fixed mine this weekend. I used Honda Bond as I had a tube laying around, but any other good Silicone Sensor safe sealant will work good. I removed all the paper gaskets and made sure there was no resude left over and it was nice and clean before I applied it and reinstalled. It is also a good idea to let it cure before you start the engine after you install. I haven't had an oil leak since.
