Title: Hit a curb :(
Post by: denious on April 11, 2007, 05:15:54 PM
OK so I hit a curb, bashed both right rims, bent my control arm and the bearing's dead. Because my left bearing's soon dying I decided to replace both. But apparently there's no front bearing? Only the whole hub assembly ($117 each from Pelican)???

Correct....The bearing itself can not be replaced (although some my argue that point)....I think if you shop around though you can find it cheaper....Maybe autohaus of fap99?

You need a 36 mm socket to get the nut off.

Flyingbrick actually doesn't stock the parts.
Ordered some parts from them a couple of weeks ago....Brake parts and bushings)..The brake parts were dropped shipped from BMA and the bushings came from Ireland Engineering...Funny thing is the Rear Toe and Camber Kit I bought through FB was cheaper then on IE's site...

Thanks a lot fot the link!!! :D

FB put it at $132 now. So BavAuto now has the cheapest prices though you don't know who makes the items.

I never had a problem with bavautos parts, or the price.
