That car looks really nice in white.....
Boy what a list. You've done it all. Wanna trade?
-
thanks I have done a few things to it ;)
next thing will be the 87' 325is air dam on it
-
I updated my pics and I have some more on the way. The air dam is still primer white but I will be painting it asap ;)
-
Out of curiousity, why did you go with the es airdam? Do you like it better than what came with the car?
-
its the "is" air dam, the "es" doesn't have the holes in the middle bottom. I like the stock valance but I just wanted seomthing a little diff. IMO the 87' 325is air dam is the hottest. and the other reason I did it was b/c people say its not possible to make it fit ;)
-
nice job man... was the thing hard to fit on your car?
you doing sideskirts next (don't ask me how they go on... haha)
-
thanks man, they aren't that hard to fit. It just takes time and patience. I want to put e36 side skirts on next. I want them b/c they will hang lower than e30 ones, giving me more room for side exhaust thats going w/ the turbo setup ;)

JeezeLouise! Thatsa gonna be some kinda kraaazy vehicle! Twin pipes exiting infront of the rear wheels? You should make a little baby side pipe for the wastegate!

I like the idea of something like that for the wastegate also...hmmm...gonna have to think about that
-
nice stuff, those side pipes and the turbo setup will be awesome
-

Quick update...
well my coils should be here tommorro, COP conversion here I come. I am also going to be replacing the rear door (I guess they are still called that on a 2 door?) windows w/ lexan. I plan to do the rear also sometime when I can mess w/ it. That will take a lot more time than the sides. I would like to do the door glass also but it would scratch like crazy and since I don't have AC anymore I don't want to have fixed windows :(
I just started a new job so that means less time to screw around w/ the car but more $ for like IE the turbo manifold :)
-
Sweet iS! Can't wait to see the gain you get after the turbo goes on! I've seen a few FI M42's but have never been in one. I bet it'll be insanely good even though I bet it's great to drive now!
Also, love the location of the pics, awesome roads!

hey asubimmer, nice car. hows your exhaust sound with that glasspack?
-
its loud as one would expect but it has a really mean sound to it. I really like it!! The idel is really deep and sounds great. Its a tad loud for long trips on the highway but its not too bad. The turbo will quiet it down some. I wasn't going to put it on till I got the turbo on but the old muffler sounded like crap and was about to fall off lol.

I can't hear my radio when behind him......
-
where did you mount your glassspack? did you mount it where the resonator was or the muffler?
-
I mounted it where the muffler was ;)
-
updates....
there may be more depending on how things work out ;)
edit: I have to get some new pics when I'm done. The car has changed a lot w/ the euro plate and filler and other little things
