I've come back, i lost the plot and bought a Toyota there for a while, but i can;t bare it and i'm probably going to pick up an 88 318i this weekend with the hope of sticking another m42 in it.  Out of interest does anyone have the weight of the 318i? the pre 88 models were 1000kg(euro) 1040kg(aust) according to the owners manual, just wondering what the 88 and onwards ones are? thanks, i look forward to more discussions here.
