Title: Best Induction for M42?
Post by: hammoj28 on March 27, 2007, 02:18:04 PM
It may just be me but it seems the induction side of the M42 engine is a bit unknown. There doesn't seem to be an answer to what i should do to help induction. I have tried a BMC carbon Airbox and to tell the truth it wasn't good. it sounded awesome! But i lost power low down and it felt a bit sluggish even though it was better up top. Does anyone have any solutions? Is standard better?

I am most likely going for throttle bodies but im very interested to know.

Cheers

James.

Well... Millerperformancecars are making a MAF kit but with this kit, it's only tuneable to what they write on the chip you must install which imo is the only downside.
