Title: Anyone have Konig Rewind wheels? 15x7 et20?
Post by: nomad on March 08, 2007, 09:04:09 AM
Anyone have these? I'm thinking of getting some to add that classic look. I think they'd be better than the Konig Heliums I have sitting here.

I personally love the look but there are some that don't.  I say go for it!

I like the rewinds.

I'd like to get some good mesh with a lip but don't want to pay that much for them.
The rewinds are 15lb each, not lite, but not beastly heavy either. I'm sure it would handle better with the lighter Konig heliums but not sure it would have that good E30 feel.

Anyone have photos of E30s on heliums?

IMO, the rewinds look more period correct on 2002 models. The Remembers were made for the E30 and looks factory imo. I'm not too crazy about the fake rivets but they do look cool.

Those are OK, but i think I'd much rather spend money on BBS RG-F's or wheels of a similar style. IMO OEM baskets and kosel k1's look pretty good too.
