Title: Different manufacturers for OEM BMW Fan Clutch?

Just wondering if BMW has switched manufacturers of their Fan Clutches over the years.

I recently purchased one on Ebay where the pic seems to show a factory OEM Sachs unit. When I received the item, it ended up being "Hamburg-Technic" brand but shows the factory part # 11521466000 OEM.

The ad says OEM so not sure what to make of it.

Is there a way to check the manufacterer with the clutch fan installed?

That would be very hard unless you have a dentist styled angled mirror and good lighting.
