Title: Will H&R sports for 325i fit in 318is?
Post by: K V N on March 05, 2007, 07:02:59 PM
The donor car is '90 325i, and the recipient is '91 318is. The springs are H&R sports. Will they fit? I was told they will, but not sure. H&R website shows 50404 for 318is, and 50406 for 325i.

Thanks
Kevin

As for as fitting...if they are intended for an E30, 325 or 318 they should. A few months back I bought some HRs. Seemed every web site showed a different fitment. In the end it came down to spring rates. When I called HR they would not give up the rates. I finally got some info from a BMP tech. He offered spring rates and why they suggested what they did.

You can look up my thread if you are interested in learning more.  I think the thread was: wrong HR springs.

sports for the 325i are essentially the same springs as the OE sports for the 318is
