I'm putting an M42 into my E30 and replacing an M20. I didn't take the M42 out so I need to know which barb on the fuel rail is supply and which is return? It's not in the Bentley's and I can't tell from Real OEM. There are two barbs one silver and one black that attach to a bracket on the intake manifold, one above the other.
I know which is the supply line from the pump/tank I just need to know where to connect which.
Thanks.

Nobody here can answer this?

Standing on the driver's side looking at the motor. The return is the connection on the left side of the fuel rail.

Great. I see that they are labeled as inlet and return. I didn't notice that before, thanks!
