Title: M20 Tb?
Post by: asubimmer on February 22, 2007, 12:47:48 AM
Has anyone tried to use a m20's TB on a m42 IM?  I am going to be installing the MS as soon as I get it and build it and I plan on trying to use a m20 TB w/ a mustang TPS.

Seems like you'd be trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.  I think the adapter you would need to make it fit and flow properly would be very thick and complicated.

I think it would be easier to adapt a megasquirt friendly TPS to the stock TB.

your right I think fabin an adapter plate might be too much work. Maybe the mustang TPS will work on the m42 TB? Any ideas? Bahh I hate the oval of the m42 TB lol

What is wrong with the M24 TPS?  It calibrated and worked fine with the MS I ran.  I was running Megasquirt 1 with the -Extra code though...don't the newer versions allow for TPS calibration as well?

I was under the impression that the M42 TPS wasn't a %?
