Post by: FL318is on February 14, 2007, 11:50:45 AM
Any opinions on these, including will they fit?
16x7- 20 offset - 4x100

I like the lip.

the angular design would work well with the E-30's lines.

I thought so too.  I was leaning toward the Ronal LS in spite of the PITA to clean factor because I like the lip.  I am beginning to hear that Ronal is not the best on availability and delivery. These would be a fair compromise on the ease/easier cleaning and still have a lip.

I was wondering with the H&R sports springs and sport billies if clearance would be an issue,  I think the 20 offset would fit without spacers.  Man, I wish there was a store here that had them so I could tesst fit.

Keep the opinions coming.

What exactly are those wheels?  I can't quite make out the name on the center cap.  TSW?  If so, which model?

Never mind, I found them.  Interesting wheel.  I wonder what they weigh?

They'll fit by the looks of it. They look pretty sweet. What are they going to run you?

Discount has them for $143. each.  I think a set of LS got for a little more. Prolly run 205/45  but would like to have 215/40.  Want to make sure clearance is not an issue.

Man, you know this is going to be a running joke as long as you're on this forum. Eversince you started up the clean wheels thread, I just can't resist anymore anytime you mention rims. :D

BTW, I think that size/offset would be perfect. I might get something with the same size coming straight from Germany. ;)

LOL I knew it was coming.  Just waiting for Clay to chime in.  The rim thing has been fun but challenging.  I think I am going toward a rim with lip.  I have the Beyern 5s on the E46 and love the look.

But, I am leaning towards those 3 spokers!

So, rims from the fatherland.  Tell us more!

Hey guys,

I want to get these rims.  I have been wondering about the off set.

With a 20 offset would I need to get a spacer to bring them closer to the outside, ie, wider stance?  And if yes to the spacer, how big?  These rims are also available in a 40 offset, but is that even feasible?

I learned from the board that the idea offset is a 27.

BTW, what is the offset on the stock BBS 14s?

The BBS basket weaves are 35? dang!  So if in my offset impaired way of thinking a 40 offset would rub the wheel well!

Found the BBS wheel size.  Guess where? On the wheel itself.  It reads 61/2x14H2  ET30.
